I first sent a total of $1000.00 to a family member in PR back in June of this year with no issue. In the past couple of months I've tried to send money again but was advised I was on a no transfer list and would need me to send in my drivers license, date of birth...

all this information. Western Union states we make it easy. I work Sundays and this is why I attempted to send the money via WU online. Since I don't have the time today to deal with it I advised I wanted to have the transfer cancelled.

I was advised I would have to send the info anyway. Or they would keep the transaction open and my money along with it. I was advised I could sue but it could take up to several years to get a resolution.

If Western Union is so worried about validating the customer to make sure they are who they say they are, why not do the verification the first time I used your services.

Twice now I have been made feel like a criminal because I wouldn't play western union's game. I even gave a brand new chipped card. I have now emailed all the info that was requested. I had to leave work to complete this process because although I placed the transfer at something like 8:00 am today.

It is now 12:27, no money has gone out, no refund has been provided but I was advised I could take legal action if I didn't like the way things were being handled.

Frankly my one and only need is to get the money out to my sister in PR. Twice now you've made me feel criminal over something you should have taken care of verifying in the beginning. Needless to say I won't use them ever and will surely knock this company every time I get.

I understand I'm one person and won't make a diff in the long run. But there are bound to be other people out there that have experience the same thing. A landslide begins with a couple of pebbles letting loose.

I trusted you to help and you screwed me over for the last time.

Please immediately contact the author of this review to discuss order processing issue of western union international money transfer. Western Union needs to read this review and look into the issue (if any) according to poster's claims.

I AM PLANNING TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION ON WESTERN UNION, WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAKE A STATEMENT AS WELL. IM GATHERING A GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN SCREWED OVER FROM THEIR MONEY.

I AS WELL HAVE BEEN ROYALYL SCREWED OVER. A MONEY ORDER REFUND WAS PROMISED TO ME SINCE JULY, ITS NOW OCTOBER AND I STILL HAVENT RECIEVED IT.

THEY KEEP GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND. LET ME KNOW PLEASE.
