Western Union's Call Center is located in Mexico and their representatives and policies are made as per Mexico. If you think this company provides good, fast and easy service then THINK AGAIN!!
I used Western Union for 2 years. I wanted a statement of transaction that I did. After spending hours and hours on phone they asked me to send a Gov issues photo ID with my address on it. So I sent then my drivers license Issued by the government of Arkansas. Now they want "A notarized statement reflecting your current address accompanied by your valid government issued photo identification".
The policies of this company are very very hectic and very unreasonable. A Government issues photo ID is not a valid proof of address. I moved almost 4 states in last 3 years. I don't know what they want.
You can send money and receive money using western union but if you need any additional information them ---- Then you are going to have to walk through ***....
