I purchased 6 money orders from Western Union to pay my rent. 3 in November totaling 1420 and 3 in December for the same amount. My property management called and said they received neither. I called Western Union to trace them and they told me that the ones I purchased November 1 were cashed in October (huh?) and the ones for December couldn’t be found in their system. They told us to send all the receipts and fill out the back and they would research them. Call them back In 10 days. I call back and nothing. Day 20 I call back and again nothing. This has put me in such a bad place right before Christmas. I will be reporting them to FTC and suing in small claims court!

I will never use western union again, i sent my money order out for my car payment, the next day it was stolen and cashed. I put it on my mail box, an apartment complex, no one can get in the out going mail.

I had to send them 15 to gr a hot copy of who cashed it, a month of waiting and almost lost my car. In the meantime i got a detective and he found out where it was actillay cashed. The guy who stole it, put his name on it, as of he whited out who i sent it to, left everything else, but changed 1 number in my address. Another 3 week later im getting the forms to fill put for theft.

Inwhich the detective is already looking for this guy to arrest. Never, ever, will i write a money order again!!! Ever. Trying to reach them is a nightmare.

And they do not care!!! I ish the place that cashed y for this thief would have done their job.

His licence didn't even match my money order. I'm sueing them next!

Same experience here, used to sent money to family for decades, suddenly they canceled my account without reason. I guess they think they're only one who can transfer money these days.

Hello WU, wake up, it's 21st century and it takes a few clicks to find another computer and send money. Oh and great job on losing customers!

I sent 50 dollars by phone. The representive put it payable to Moore not Miller.

I had a hard time understanding the guy.

When I called in I was told that I had to return to where I sent the money from to fix it even though I was 60 miles away and the 2nd person I talked to spoke worse English than the original guy I talked to. I don't care where the people I am talking to are from but they should at least talk and understand plain English.

my son has sent me money for his house note and it was put on hold and we call not get anyone to answer the phone to tell us any information and this is a shame how your services are.will never use u all again.

Glad you got a resolution. I’m still waiting for some recourse.

The only reason they even responded to me is because I emailed them the cover page of my report to the Florida Office of Financial Regulation. Otherwise, it would have gone on forever and I would have been out $10,000.
