I transferred $600 to nephew in PuertoRico. Used WUPay which advertised getting money there in 3 days. Today, 5 days later, they tell me it may take another 3 days.
First WU does not tell you this is business days, so they do not count Saturday and Sunday. The money left my account Friday and was transferred to WU, my credit union tells me WU claimed the money on Tuesday, five days (3 business days) later. They even gave me the trace number to prove WU had the money.
However WU tells me it will take another 3 days. That comes out to be 7 days (5 business days). I will use up my points that I have earned with previous transfers and never use them again.
I had to send an additional $600 to the recipient. WU wins because they get two transaction fee. When I use all my points I have earned from them with previous transactions, I will move on to another company.
The customer service was horrible.

Monetary Loss: $600.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
