I have used Western Union many times to transfer money. This time around I tried to send money online but was asked to call to help with the transaction. The operator put me onto a "special operator". She then proceeded to ask me for details then decided to cancel my transaction. I asked for a reason but she could provide a legitimate excuse. I then checked my bank account only to see that I have been charged for the transaction any way.

There should be no reason for a suspicious receiver because i have done this transaction many times.

So I'm left with an expensive phone call with no reimbursement.

I would suggest not using Western Union. The customer service is useless. The core of there business is useless also. Being treated like a criminal and being ripped off is not my favorite way to be treated by a company.
